Despite an intense game that came down to the wire, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats managed to continue their winning streak against the Ottawa Redblacks with a 27-24 victory at TD Place Stadium that saw a defensive slugfest turn into an offensive shootout.
The victory was highlighted by the performances of Hamilton’s Taylor Powell and Tim White.
Powell completed 21 out of 32 attempts, threw for 326 yards, achieved 3 TDs, and 0 interceptions, while White hauled in 7 receptions for 180 yards and two scores which included a 64 yard reception.
James Butler carried the ball 14 times covering 35 yards with a 10 yard dash marking his longest on the day.
The Tiger-Cats will be hosting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday while the RedBlacks move to take on the BC Lions.
