Canadiens Re-Sign Michael McCarron

The Montreal Canadians have signed restricted free agent Michael McCarron to a one-year, two-way contract worth just over $874K at the NHL level, according to an official team announcement.

McCarron, 23, is probably on his last chance with the team after his production has been on a steady decline since he was selected in the first round of the 2013 draft, and touted as one of the team’s top prospects, one with a lot of potential.

McCarron will be a restricted free agent again next summer.
