Minnesota Wild forward Charlie Coyle has undergone successful surgery to repair tendons in both of his wrists, according to The Athletic’s Michael Russo.
Coyle had been dealing with the issues since they first surfaced back January, but decided to play through the injuries for the remainder of the regular season, including the playoffs.
Despite the injury, Coyle enjoyed a solid season posting 37 points over 66 games which is the second-highest point-per-game mark of his career.
Coyle is expected to miss anywhere from 2 to 4 months as he recovers.
