Penguins ‘Not In’ On Sabres Evander Kane

Count the Pittsburgh Penguins out in the Evander Kane sweepstakes.

According to Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh aren’t actively pursuing the Buffalo Sabres forward after acquiring Derick Brassard from the Ottawa Senators on Friday.

With just over $434,000 in cap space, Pittsburgh would have to do a ton of work to make a deal for Kane work financially as Kane has a cap hit of $5.25 million.
