The Colorado Avalanche won’t have forward Nathan MacKinnon in the lineup when they take on the Edmonton Oilers due to one is considered a day-to-day injury.
The team made the announcement on Wednesday, stating that MacKinnon is expected to be reevaluated over the next 24 hours and, at that point, the team would have more information regarding he injury, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.
MacKinnon is second in league scoring with 61 points over 49 games this season.
