Capitals’ Brooks Orpik Out 4-6 Weeks

Washington Capitals defenseman Brooks Orpik will miss the next 4-6 weeks after he underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, according to an official team announcement made on Tuesday.

Orpik, 38, was on long-term injured reserve on November 9th and hasn’t seen any action since back on October 27th, when he was considered day-to-day.

Orpik has notched two points in 10 games this season for Washington.
