Bruins’ Torey Krug Out With Ankle Injury, Re-Evaluated in 3 Weeks

Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug suffered a left ankle injury that has put him in a walking boot and he will be re-evaluated after three weeks, according to Bruins general manager Don Sweeney, who announced the news on Monday.

While Sweeney did not provide any further details regarding the injury, it’s worth noting that Krug fractured the same ankle during the Bruins’ second round Stanley Cup playoff series against the Tampa Bay Lightning last season.

Krug, 27, poured in 59 points last season.
