Rangers Acquire Adam McQuaid

The New York Rangers have acquired defenseman Adam McQuaid from the Boston Bruins in exchange for defenseman Steven Kampfer, a fourth-round pick in 2019, and a conditional seventh-round pick, according to a team announcement.

McQuaid has spent his entire career, all seven years, with the Rangers, but was limited to only 38 games last season scoring one goal and three assists.

Kampfer has scored 10 goals and 26 points over his six years in the league, where he has played for the Bruins, Rangers, Minnesota Wild, and the Florida Panthers.
