Blues Sign Jordan Schmaltz to 2-Year Deal

The St. Louis Blues has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with defenseman Jordan Schmaltz, according to a team announcement on Wednesday.

Schmaltz’s new deal will  pay him $700,000 at the NHL level and $150,000 in the American Hockey League in the first year of the deal, and will become a one-way contract after that and pay him $700,000.

Schmaltz poured in five goals and 23 points over 31 games with the San Antonio Rampage in the AHL last season.
