The Toronto Maple Leafs have reached an agreement with veteran forward Tyler Ennis on a one-year $650K contract which will bring some depth to the bottom-half of their lineup, according to a team announcement.
Ennis, 28, was recently bought out by the Minnesota Wild and will earn more than $2.4M over the next two seasons because of that buyout.
While Ennis was production for the Wild, they simply could not afford his $4.6M cap hit.
