Hurricanes Sign Andrei Svechnikov

The Carolina Hurricanes have announced that they have signed winger Andrei Svechnikov to a three-year, entry-level contract with a maximum base salary of $925K per year at the NHL level.

“This an exciting moment for our organization” Carolina general manager Don Waddell said. “Andrei is the type of elite talent that you can build a team around. He has a bright future in a Carolina Hurricanes uniform.”
