Devils Re-Sign Eddie Lack

The New Jersey Devils have re-signed goaltender Eddie Lack to a one-year, one-way deal worth $650K, according to a team announcement.

Lack, 30, started the 2017-2018 season with the Calgary Flames after they acquired him from Carolina Hurricanes, but Lack struggled, posting a 5.29 GAA with a .813 SV%  in 4 games, leading to him being waived.

The Devils acquired him in December and spent most of his time with the Devils’ AHL affiliate in Binghamton. Lack did show improvement when he did play in 4 games for New Jersey, posting a 3.19 GAA and .903 SV% during that span.
