Washington Capitals and 2018 Stanley Cup Champion John Carlson is one of, if not the top, free-agent defenseman that is set to hit free agency on July 1st, but wants to remain in Washington.
“I love it here,” Carlson said on Wednesday, according to NBC Sports’ Tarik El-Bashir. “I want to stay here, but there’s more to it than that.”
