Two of the playoff teams that the Vegas Golden Knights eliminated in the Stanley Cup Playoffs traded some verbal jabs after Vegas eliminated the Sharks to advance to the conference finals.
It all began when the Kings reminded the Sharks about a tweet that was sent during Game 2 of the second-round series. In that tweet, the Sharks mocked the Kings’ lack of scoring in their first round playoff series against the Golden Knights.
Then it took on a life of it’s own:
TFW you score as many goals in one period as the Kings did in their entire series. pic.twitter.com/oEKkf1tpH0

It will be interesting to see if things are more intense when these two teams take the ice again. But both will have to wait until next season to do so.
