The Washington Capitals will have to move forward in the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with the services of winger Andre Burakovsky, who is set to have minor surgery.
Burakovsky suffered an upper-body injury during Game 2 on Sunday when he was on the receiving end of a hit from Columbus Blue Jackets’ forward Boone Jenner.
According to head coach Barry Trotz, Burakovsky could return if his team advances in the playoffs.
