Jets’ Patrik Laine To Miss Up To 2 Weeks With Foot Injury

Winnipeg Jets winger Patrik Laine will miss up to 2 weeks of action after being diagnosed with a bruised foot, according to SportsNet reporter Sean Reynolds.

Laine exited Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Kings during the 2nd period after blocking a shot attempt with his foot. He did not return to the game and his absence created a major scare among fans who were worried he suffered a major injury.

It’s a big blow for Winnipeg as Laine was playing well as of late scoring 20 goals and five assists on a 15-game point streak.
