Jets’ Steve Mason Out 2-3 Weeks Following Arthroscopic Surgery

The Winnipeg Jets will be without goaltender Steve Mason, who will be sidelined 2-3 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on Monday, head coach Paul Maurice announced (h/t NHL.com).

Mason missed 21 games with an upper-body injury this season, returning on March 6th and tweaked the knee during the Jets morning skate a few days later.

Michael Hutchinson was called up from Manitoba of the American Hockey League to backup Connor Hellebuyck in the net during Mason’s absence.
