Hurricanes Interviewed Sabres AGM Steve Greeley

The Carolina Hurricanes are being proactive in finding a replacement for Ron Francis as the team’s general manager and recently interviewed Buffalo Sabres assistant general manager Steve Greeley, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.

This comes a week following the Los Angeles Kings granting Carolina permission to talk with their assistant general manager, Mike Futa.

Francis was fired last week as GM but was reassigned as the team’s president of hockey operations.
