Canucks Sign Alex Biega To Two-Year Contract Extension

The Vancouver Canucks have announced a two-year extension for defenseman Alex Biega worth an average annual value of $825,000.

“Alex has an incredible work ethic and is always prepared,” Canucks general manager Jim Benning said. “He sets an example for our younger players to follow. We’re pleased to have Alex as part of our team moving forward.”

Biega, 29, has six assists in 31 games played with Vancouver this season.
