Red Wings’ Mike Green Gives ‘Ok’ For Trade To Two Teams

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Mike Green has given the team the green light to trade him to either the Tampa Bay Lightning or the Washington Capitals, according to The Athletic’s Craig Custance.

Green’s current contract includes a full no-trade clause which gives him the leverage in any trade situation, but has given Detroit at least 2 options if they do wish to trade him.

Green, 32, is also a pending unrestricted free agent.
