Jets Land Paul Stastny From Blues

The Winnipeg Jets are gearing up to make a run at the Stanley Cup.

Winnipeg has traded a 2018 1st round pick, a fourth-round pick in 2020, and forward prospect Erik Foley to the St.Louis Blues in exchange for center Paul Stastny, according to a report from ESPN.

Stastny has 12 goals and 28 assists this year and will add depth to the center position behind Mark Scheifele.

Stastny, 32, will be an unrestricted free agent after this season and St. Louis had attempted to work out a new contract with the center but the two sides couldn’t get a deal done.
