Blue Jackets Inquired About Artem Anisimov

The Columbus Blue Jackets are reportedly interested in bringing back one of their former players as the NHL trade deadline fast approaches.

Columbus inquired about Chicago Blackhawks forward Artem Anisimov’s availability and he was approached about waiving his no-movement clause, according to Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times.

However, Columbus only offered a 3rd round pick to Chicago and wanted the Blackhawks to retain half of Anisimov’s salary, which ended talks between the two teams.
