The Vancouver Canucks will be without forward Markus Granlund as his ankle injury is requiring surgery, according to Vancouver head coach Travis Green.
Granlund was injured during Vancouver’s loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning last week when he landed awkwardly following a hit from Ryan Callahan and hasn’t played since.
While Granlund hasn’t been ruled out for the remainder of the season, it is likely that he will miss quite some time as he recovers.
Granlund has scored eight goals and four assists in 53 games this season.
