Bruins’ Charlie McAvoy Returns To Action

The Boston Bruins have rookie blue-liner Charlie McAvoy back in action for Saturday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

McAvoy returns less than two weeks after undergoing a procedure to correct an abnormal heart rhythm.

Boston played well despite the loss of McAvoy, posting a 3-1-0 record during his absence and the Bruins are currently in second place in the Atlantic Division.

McAvoy’s return will be welcomed as he has notched 25 points through 45 games this season.

Bruins’ Zach Senyshyn Out Four Weeks With Lower-Body Injury

Boston Bruins’ promising young forward Zach Senyshyn will miss around four weeks of action with a lower-body injury, according to a team announcement.

Senyshyn will be reevaluated in approximately four weeks.

In a corresponding move, the Bruins have recalled Trent Frederic from the AHL to take Senyshyn’s spot on the roster.

Bruins Activate David Krejci

The Boston Bruins have activated veteran center David Krejci and he made his return to the team against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night.

Krejci, 33, was injured early in an October 14th game against the Anaheim Ducks, and his return is big news for the Bruins

Krejci notched 73 points last season for Boston, including a team-high 43 even-strength assists.

Bruins Place Jesse Gabrielle On Unconditional Waivers

The Boston Bruins have placed forward Jesse Gabrielle on unconditional waivers in another step towards contract termination, according to CapFriendly.

Gabrielle, 21, played his entire season in the ECHL, but his season was cut short after suffering another concussion back in March, his third head injury since training camp.

Gabrielle will now become an unrestricted free agent.
