The Boston Bruins have rookie blue-liner Charlie McAvoy back in action for Saturday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
McAvoy returns less than two weeks after undergoing a procedure to correct an abnormal heart rhythm.
Boston played well despite the loss of McAvoy, posting a 3-1-0 record during his absence and the Bruins are currently in second place in the Atlantic Division.
McAvoy’s return will be welcomed as he has notched 25 points through 45 games this season.
