BlackHawks’ Patrick Kane Fined $5,000 For Slashing

Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane has been levied a $5,000 fine, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slashing Anaheim Ducks forward Nick Ritchie.

The National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety made the announcement today.

he money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.

Blackhawks Sign Alec Regula

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed prospect Alec Regula to a three-year entry-level contract and will remain in the OHL where is currently with the London Knights.

Chicago acquired Regula, 19, from the Detroit Red Wings earlier this season in exchange for Brendan Perlini.

Regula has size and plenty of offensive upside, things that have the Hawks excited for his future.

The Chicago Blackhawks have confirmed that 18-year old Kirby Dach will be sticking around following his impressive first games with the team, according to a team statement.

Dach, the 3rd overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, will look to get the Hawks out of their early season slump, and his play has stood out along the way, giving hope that he can be a big part of Chicago’s future.
