Penguins’ Justin Schultz Places On Injured Reserve

The Pittsburgh Penguins placed defenseman Justin Schultz on injured reserve on Thursday, the team officially announced.

Schultz suffered a concussion on Tuesday during Pittsburgh’s game against the Ottawa Senators.

Defenseman Frank Corrado has been called up from the AHL in a corresponding move.

Schultz, coming off a career-high 51-point season, has scored three points in 10 games so far this season.
