The Calgary Flames have placed veteran Jaromir Jagr on injured reserve on Monday after he suffering a lower-body injury in Saturday’s loss to the Minnesota Wild.
Jagr has a pair of assists and nine shots on goal through five games with Calgary this season and the Flames will be without the 45-year old until at least next weekend.
Jagr signed a one-year, $1-million deal earlier this month.
Calgary recalled forward Mark Jankowski from the AHL’s Stockton Heat in a corresponding move.
