Kings’ Jeff Carter To Miss Significant Time After Being Cut By Skate Blade

Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Carter will be out for multiple weeks after being cut by a skate blade Wednesday night, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.

Carter was cut by the left skate of Montreal Canadiens’ Jeff Petry, who had checked Carter into the boards during the first period of the Kings’ 5-1 victory over Montreal.

Carter’s loss will be huge as he notched 32 goals and 66 points last season.
