Blue Jackets’ Josh Anderson Requests Trade

Columbus Blue Jackets restricted free agent Josh Anderson, who has been a holdout and has opted not to attend camp while waiting for a new contract, has requested a trade out of Columbus according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

Anderson’s agent, Darren Ferris, declined to comment.

“This trade request is news to me,” Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekalainen said.

“And we are not looking to trade Josh Anderson.”
