Blues’ Alexander Steen Injured Left Hand, Will Be Re-Evaluated In 3 Weeks

The St. Louis Blues are bracing for the potential loss of forward Alexander Steen, who may miss considerable time with a hand injury.

Steen injured his left hand during the team’s first preseason game against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday, according to the team.

Steen will be re-evaluated in 3 weeks.

The Blues have been hit with the injury bug early as defenseman Jay Bouwmeester will also be re-evaluated in three weeks after fracturing his ankle and center Patrik Berglund will be out until December after undergoing offseason surgery on a dislocated shoulder.
