Panthers Reach Two-Year Deal With Jared McCann

The Florida Panthers have reached an agreement with restricted free agent Jared McCann on a two-year contract extension, according to an official team announcement.

“Jared is a versatile two-way centerman who possesses excellent speed and suits our team well,” Panthers general manager Dale Tallon said. “He has improved his game during his time with our organization and we look forward to him taking the next step in his development.”

McCann, 22, scored 9 goals and added 19 assists over 68 games last season for Florida.
