The Carolina Hurricans announced that they hvae hired Jeff Daniels as an assistant coach, and he will join head coach Rod Brind’Amour behind the bench for the 2018-19 season.
Daniels was a member of the Hurricanes’ coaching staff when the team won the Stanley Cup back i 2006, with Brind’Amour as captain.
“Jeff has served as a head coach in the American Hockey League, and of course won the ultimate prize as an assistant on the NHL level” Carolina general manager Don Waddell said in a statement.
“Rod has played with and under Jeff, so he has a great understanding for the experience and knowledge that he brings to the table.
