Lightning Acquire Defenseman Ryan McDonagh From Rangers

The Tampa Bay Lightning got involved at the NHL trade deadline by landing New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Mcdonagh, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.

Tampa Bay will reportedly also receive JT Miller, according to TSN’s Hockey Insider Darren Dreger.

TSN’s Bob McKenzie reports that Tampa Bay is sending Libor Hajek, Brett Holden, Vladislav Nemestnikov, a 2018 1st round pick, along with a conditional second round pick to New York.

McKenzie added that the conditional 2nd round pick the Lightning sends to the Rangers changes to a first-round pick if Tampa Bay wins the Stanley Cup this year or next year.
