Flyers Claim Johnny Oduya Off Waivers

The Philadelphia Flyers have claimed defenseman Johnny Oduya off of waivers from the Ottawa Senators.

Oduya, 36, who signed a one-year deal with Ottawa last summer, has scored eight points in 51 games with Ottawa this season.

Oduya is a pending unrestricted free agent and comes with a $1-million cap hit. The Flyers are now on the hook for as much as $1M in potential Performance Bonuses for Oduya, according to Cap Friendly.
